We are a small, welcoming Congregational church on Cape Cod seeking a talented and dedicated Music Director/Keyboardist/Choir Director to enrich our worship services and music ministry.

Overview:

This is a part time position. Primary responsibilities include playing the electronic keyboard (KORG Grandstage keyboard) for Sunday morning worship services (all year)and directing a small volunteer choir (typically September to June).

Plan and lead weekly choir rehearsals (currently one evening per week and Sunday morning).

Collaborate with the pastor to select appropriate hymns and anthems.

Availability for special services (Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, funerals, etc.)

Qualifications:

Proficiency in electronic keyboard and choral conducting.

Familiarity with traditional and contemporary sacred music.

Ability to work with and inspire volunteer singers.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Experience with handbells is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: $25,000 yearly
